Privacy

A small form should not require a large surrender.

We collect only what is needed to review community submissions and understand whether the guide is useful.

Community forms

When you submit a tip or offer to contribute, we store your name, email, chosen category, message and the time of consent. We also retain a one-way hash of network information for short-window spam protection; we do not publish your email.

How we use it

Your details are used to review the submission, contact you if clarification or permission is needed, and maintain the editorial record. A contribution is never published automatically.

Basic analytics

The site records page views and selected interactions using a random session identifier. This helps us learn which guides and planner options are useful without requiring a visitor account.

Your choices

You may ask for a submitted contribution or associated contact information to be corrected or removed through the corrections process. Do not include sensitive personal information in a public-facing travel tip.
